The receptacle consists of a molded PVC housing that is pre-wired and self-contained. There are four molded rear connector ports for alternative wiring configurations including a cam which is operated externally. Using a screwdriver, simply adjust the cam to manipulate the internal bussing. This will redirect the electrical current inside the box without ever coming in contact with wires or metal parts. In other words the Receptacle is “already wired” and enclosed in a molded housing for safety! Simply attach a Q-CEB connector to the end of the unstripped Romex® wire and “snap” into the appropriate port on the back of the Receptacle.
Cover plates or wall plates are simply “pressed on” and absent of the old looking two oval openings providing a sharp fresh profile.
